I’ve always had many names – Victoria, Vicky, Vic – and have always felt each revealed different facets of my existence. So why not use many names when writing books so different from each other?

I use my full name for non-fiction work and go by Wanda Hałabis as my writing name for poetry as it’s my middle name (my paternal grandma’s name) combined with my mother’s maiden name – the two sides of my family.

Besides writing, you can find me: reading, camping, doing yoga, collecting crystals, watching old movies, and drinking wine at the cottage.
